As she finishes her tenure at WRAG, Tamara reflects back on 12 years leading the organization. Dr. Madye Henson comes on board as President & CEO on Monday, April 15.
Following a highly competitive national search and vetting process, the board of the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers is proud to announce the selection of Dr. Madye Henson as President and CEO. She will take the helm on April 15.
In her speech at the 2018 Annual Meeting, Tamara Copeland discussed what she would like to see WRAG members and the organization focus on in the future.
We are pleased to welcome Celeste James (Kaiser Permanente) and Hanh Le (Weissberg Foundation) to the WRAG Board of Directors.

We are pleased to announce that the WRAG membership have elected three new board members: Kelly Lynch, Diane & Norman Bernstein Foundation; Amy Owen, Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties; and M. Craig Pascal, BB&T .
She, in partnership with Dr. Kathy Kretman, director of the Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership and research professor at the McCourt School, will explore the role of philanthropy in addressing racial equity in the DC region and co-teach a graduate seminar on philanthropy and racial justice.
