Discussion Guide: Expanding the Table Session 4 - Implicit Bias

Publication date:
May, 2018

In the fourth session of Putting Racism on the Table: Expanding the Table for Racial Equity (2018) Dr. Patricia Devine and Dr. Will Cox, two scientific leaders in the study of stereotyping and implicit biases from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, share the strategies they have developed and empirically tested to break the “prejudice habit.” These strategies are the first and remain the only interventions that have been shown to produce long-term changes in implicit bias. We suggest watching the video with colleagues, and using this discussion guide to spark a conversation.
