WRAG's Children, Youth, and Families Working Group (CYF) will be hosting "Advancing Early Education Collaborative Briefing" on February 10.
JPMorgan Chase recently announced a $20M commitment in Ward 7 and 8 to help close the racial wealth divide. During the CYF Working Group meeting, participants will be briefed on the purpose of Advancing Early Education Collaborative, who will receive a $5M three-year commitment from JPMorgan Chase. The Advancing Early Education Collaborative is a partnership to increase access to education, skills, and training opportunities, as well as wealth building and capacity building for early childhood educators and the centers that employ them.

On February 11, 2022 WRAG's Healthy Communities Working Group (HWCG) will be hosting :
“Deeply Rooted: History’s Lessons for Equity in Northern Virginia”, released in December 2021.
This report demonstrates disparities in education, income, housing, along with the harmful health effects of chronic exposure to discrimination, as products of history and are chiefly responsible for the large gaps in life expectancy that exist today

DC to provide new mothers with monthly cash payments
