Immediate opening for a full-time Certification Specialist in Fairfax, VA

Have a Monday-Friday schedule that is convenient and flexible. No weekends or holidays. Increase your knowledge and experience with HUD income certifications. Work with our Accounting team on payment adjustments. Receive hands-on supervisory support to settle and grow in your role with regularly scheduled supervisory sessions so you feel supported.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You will be responsible for completing income certifications for HUD Multifamily projects, including maintaining recertification documentation. You will respond to inquiries regarding certifications from tenants and case managers, maintain a schedule of lease renewal dates and work with accounting staff on payment adjustments.
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Documented excellent customer service experience. Demonstrated ability to work independently, and in a team. Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Occupancy Regulations. Accounting/Bookkeeping experience. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and requirements. Demonstrated ability working with individuals with severe mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders. Experience working with Yardi or other similar property management software.'
