As the philanthropic partner of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Jack and Jill Foundation addresses issues affecting African American children and families by investing in programs and services that create a strong foundation for children to thrive long-term.

Vision - Jack and Jill Foundation transforms African-American communities, one child at a time.

The Foundation issues grants to 501c3 organizations (independent of Jack and Jill Chapters and Members).  We are looking for a team of grant reviewers for our 2019-2020 applications.

A grant reviewer will be responsible for ensuring that each application receives an objective and fair initial peer review.  The mission of the Foundation grant applications are to ensure overall impact in the following focus areas, Education, Health/Wellness and Strong Families.

Qualified reviewers are:

·         Dedicated to high quality, fair and objective reviews

·         Timely and able to work independently

·         Able to maintain confidentiality and the integrity of grants and reviews

·         Able to attend peer review meetings

·         Prepare summary statements for all applications reviewed

Able to access and assign numerical score reviews to each application

A grant reviewer will be responsible for ensuring that each application receives an objective and fair initial peer review.  The mission of the Foundation grant applications are to ensure overall impact in the following focus areas, Education, Health/Wellness and Strong Families.

Location -From home, anywhere/anytime, in the Wizehive/Zengine Platform.

Pay -$250 for a minimum of 10 grants with preliminary scores and summary statements for each grant reviewed

Requirements - 

  • Must attend a Grant Webinar for grant reviewers
  • Able to examine and evaluate written grants in the areas of Education, Health/Wellness and Black Families
  • Must a self-starter, deadline motivated, task oriented, dedicated, work independently and passionate about underserved children and families.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs
  • Ability to learn other software platforms
