We’re looking for a Sr. Analyst to join the Culture & Engagement Team to support the Corporate Giving and Volunteerism program - GDIT Cares. You will have the opportunity to manage and expand our employee volunteer program, engaging employees from around the country in making an impact on the communities in which they live, work and play. You will drive our Quarterly Impact Projects and Volunteer Recognition program and partner with our Volunteer Champions to deliver engaging and impactful volunteer programs for all 35,000 GDIT employees.

As the Sr. Analyst, you must be detail-oriented, organized, and collaborate with employee volunteers to make our programs successful. You must be a strong communicator, and have the ability to work with employees at all levels of the company. A customer experience mindset and ability to be responsive with both thoroughness and thoughtfulness is a must. This position plays a strong role in developing GDIT’s culture and contributing to the positive energy we strive for throughout the organization.

A day in the life:

  • Manage Volunteer program – including identification and execution of quarterly volunteer events, coordination of volunteer events with non-profit partners, and support for events on-site as needed
  • Serve as primary liaison with Volunteer Champion Committee - host monthly meetings, provide guidance and support for activities in other markets and act as resource for committee members
  • Oversee Volunteer Recognition Program – to include tracking of hours, distribution of awards and management of process.
  • Develop tracking system for all volunteer programs to illustrate impact of events
  • Maintain Giving Calendar
  • Process Corporate donations
  • Draft communications for giving events and opportunities
  • Maintain the Giving Mailbox
  • Develop relationships in GDIT markets around the country, with focus on areas of critical mass  
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in corporate giving and employee engagement trends and developing tools
  • Support for Culture & Engagement department activities as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends as needed
