Job Description
As a valued colleague on our Community Investment and Engagement (CIE) team, you will support the programs that focus on matching gifts administration and volunteerism.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Community Investment and Engagement - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as administrator and super-user of matching gifts portal through daily monitoring and/processing of requests. Maintain contact with the vendor for upgrades, training and/or troubleshooting when needed.
  • Serve as a resource for employees using the matching gifts system.
  • Maintain HomeSite (intranet) matching gift guidance including guidelines, FAQs and user guides.
  • Maintain matching gift instructions, sign-on IDs, etc. for Board members.
  • Ensure matching gifts program use is in compliance with OFAC, Fannie Mae governance policies and IRS guidelines and with our Compliance & Ethics, Legal and Anti-Fraud/Risk teams.
  • Champion and influence all employees to utilize matching gifts software for giving.
  • Create reports as needed for tax, budgeting or other purposes.
  • Support payment process – review monthly transaction fees and match requests for manager approval.
  • Establish metrics and measure impact and effectiveness of CIE matching gifts programs.
  • Develop monthly reports and dashboards to visualize and track progress and communicate impact.
  • Coordinate skills-based volunteer opportunities.
  • Partner with our Communications team to identify internal and external storytelling opportunities.

Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years related experience
  • Prior experience administering matching gifts programs
  • Analyzes data and trends to inform decision making 
  • Experience partnering with non-profit organizations and/or engaging employee volunteers in meaningful experiences  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, time sensitive projects and balance competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and set priorities in a dynamic environment 
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to follow through to achieve deliverables 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members, Fannie Mae employees and leaders, and third-party vendor representatives
  • Possess strong sense of integrity and exhibits ethical conduct
  • Possesses cultural competency and a sensitivity to other viewpoints

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Prior experience using a matching gifts platform such as America’s Charities, Benevity, CyberGrants, etc.
