FUNDERS ONLY EVENT | WRAG will host an interest lunch for our Housing Justice Working Group on Tuesday, September 12 from 12-1:30pm, which will be hosted by the Greater Washington Community Foundation.
The Housing Justice Working Group seeks to mobilize philanthropy and promote housing justice in the Greater Washington region. Housing Justice recognizes centuries of systemic racism and discrimination in housing access, land use and ownership, development, and more. A just housing community provides safe, accessible, secure, and affordable housing where residents can thrive on their own terms.
Join us if you are interested in learning about and advancing:
- - The role of racial equity in housing access and housing justice practices.
- - Ways to mobilize grantmaking to support housing needs in our region.
- - The solutions that could better assist unhoused residents and residents with unmet housing needs in the DMV.
