The pandemic emergency stimulus and tax credit programs have demonstrated what many advocates have long known to be true. Empowering families with direct money to make decisions is one of the most effective ways to improve their health, education, and economic and social outcomes. As the region plans for recovery, we have an opportunity to continue exploring how to direct cash to families to decrease poverty, increase savings, and help to address the racial opportunity gap in the region.  Join us to learn more about how government, philanthropy, and advocacy organizations make a case for cash.
