At the recent briefing on the DC Trust, a number of WRAG members connected over concerns about children and youth. Following that gathering, several members expressed interest in revitalizing WRAG’s Children, Youth, and Families Working Group, recognizing that it would have been under that umbrella that such a conversation would have occurred in the past.

Carol Thompson Cole (Venture Philanthropy Partners) and Lindsey Buss (World Bank Group) have offered to lead a discussion to gauge member interest in rejuvenating this group. This work would clearly align with VPP's overall work and their seminal report, "Capital Kids," from a few years ago, and with the World Bank's historical support of a number of initiatives benefiting children.

If you are interested but unavailable on this date, please email Rebekah Seder, seder@washingtongrantmakers.org, so that we have an idea of the number of members who would like to be involved in this WRAG working group.
