Obtaining a postsecondary credential is a necessity in today’s economy. However, many students face structural and economic barriers on the path to achieving a certificate or degree. At this session, we will explore the challenges that many students in our region face in the journey to and through college, the key supports and services that help students thrive in college, what quality looks like in such programs, and how philanthropy can effectively engage to ensure everyone has the opportunity for postsecondary success.

Opening Presentation: Elizabeth Morgan, National College Access Network (NCAN)

Panel Discussion:

  • Amma Felix, President, Collegiate Directions
  • Julie Green, Executive Director, New Futures
  • Nicole Lynn Lewis, CEO, Generation Hope
  • Danielle Reyes, Executive Director, The Crimsonbridge Foundation (moderator)
