Do you find it time consuming or elusive to learn about your grantees’ needs? With few staff, supporting grantees beyond dollars – communicating, connecting them with others, finding the right balance in collaboration – can be tricky to navigate. How do you develop relationships with nonprofits in a way that is supportive and helps you better evaluate the impact you are having together?
Come join this peer-to-peer conversation and share your successes and get ideas. We encourage you to share information about this program with other funders you think might benefit.
This program will set the stage for Great Funder-Nonprofit Relationships, a program for both funders and nonprofits dedicated to helping everyone build better working relationships and increase the impact of their work, in September in Washington, DC.
This program is coordinated by the members of Exponent Philanthropy’s Northern Virginia Local Engagement Group (LEG). The Northern Virginia LEG, started in 2013, provides an opportunity to connect to a network of local funders and explore topics of interest in a small group. Please join us to learn, share, discuss, commiserate, and collaborate. You do not have to be a member of the LEG to participate in this event.
Who Should Attend:
This program is open to foundation donors, trustees, and staff; individual donors; donor advised fund holders; and members of giving circles.
