This event was rescheduled from its original March date.

Exponent Philanthropy, Southeastern Council of Foundations, and the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers invite you to join us for the Northern Virginia Local Engagement Group Meeting, The Art of Successful Site Visits.

Site visits can provide philanthropists with valuable information about their grantees and the causes they support, and can cultivate positive relationships between funders and nonprofits. This meeting will explore the best ways to approach a site visit and critical questions to ask on your visit.

This peer-to-peer conversation also represents an opportunity to connect to a network of local funders and explore topics of interest in a small group. Light refreshments will be served.

Following the program, participants are invited to a lunch conversation on funding education at a nearby restaurant. Individuals are responsible for covering their own lunch costs. Thank you to the Scheidel Foundation for hosting this peer-to-peer discussion.

Who Should Attend:
This program is open to foundation donors, trustees, and staff; individual donors; donor advised fund holders; members of giving circles.
