Our community is a haven to thousands of immigrant families fleeing violence and abject poverty, including many unaccompanied minors who risked their lives to reunite with their parents.

Join us to explore how both immigrants and local residents can come together to support the well-being of these children (many of whom are rebounding from traumas) as well as empower whole families to contribute their fullest potential to the civic and economic fabric of our community. Most importantly, find out what we all stand to lose should we ignore this population.

Angela Maria Kelley, Executive Director of the Center for American Progress Action Fund and Senior Vice President at the Center for American Progress
Rick Moyers, Vice President for Programs and Communications, Meyer Foundation
Diego Uriburu, Executive Director, Identity, Inc.

Please note that this is a funder-only gathering for representatives of private and corporate foundations. To learn more or RSVP, please contact Bridget Hanagan at or 301-495-3036 x169.
