Funders in the Greater Washington region have invested in the work of improving the lives of all of our residents for years. Despite our collective efforts, there is a growing disparity in outcomes among many communities – particularly, boys and young men of color.

New efforts, such as President Obama’s recently announced initiative “My Brother’s Keeper” and a growing national funder network, are bringing a new sense of urgency to this issue across the country. Some funders in our region are also interested in exploring how to best leverage our resources to improve outcomes for these important members of our community.

Join us on April 2 as we begin to explore new strategies to improve outcomes for our brothers, fathers, and sons in the Greater Washington region.

If you are unable to attend but are interested in this endeavor, please contact Gretchen Greiner-Lott.
