WRAG members are invited to participate in a conference call on Tuesday, January 30th at 10am regarding the potential local impact of another government shutdown, which continues to be a threat as Congress has until February 8 to pass a spending bill. GMU’s Dr. Stephen Fuller, noted expert on our region’s economy, will brief WRAG members on the implications of a shutdown on the regional economy, 29.9% of which, according to the Stephen S. Fuller Institute, is accounted for by the federal government.
