Questions for Candidates

The Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers recently reached out to all candidates for DC Mayor and DC City Council Chair to ask about two topics that we had not seen addressed during the campaign:
1) The District government has joined many of our region's governments in endorsing the Greater Washington 2050 Coalition’s Region Forward initiative. If elected, how would you use this framework in planning for the city's future? What do you feel are the top areas of concern for the Greater Washington region, and how would you work with other jurisdictions to address them?

2) Many of the issues facing the District of Columbia require a comprehensive and coordinated response, from the public, nonprofit and private sectors. If elected, how would you collaborate with the philanthropic and nonprofit communities to leverage our resources and expertise?
Below are links to the candidate answers received so far. If we receive more, we will post them.
