A joint fund and program working since 1992 to revitalize and stabilize low-income, distressed neighborhoods in the D.C. - especially in the preservation of affordable housing. With over 40 private and corporate partners, the Community Development Support Collaborative (CDSC) provides capacity building grants, training, and technical assistance to non-profit neighborhood-based organizations engaged in community and economic development.
2009
With a continued focus on the preservation and development of affordable housing in DC., the Collaborative will provide nearly $600,000 in grants to nonprofit housing developers and technical assistance providers for tenant-purchase projects. In addition, the Collaborative will work in partnership with the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development and other nonprofit partners on advocacy efforts.
