The WASHINGTON REGIONAL ASSOCIATION OF GRANTMAKERS (WRAG) is a nonprofit membership association comprised of over 100 of the most well-respected foundations and corporate giving programs in the Greater Washington region. Dedicated to promoting effective and responsible philanthropy, WRAG provides dozens of opportunities each year for members to learn about community issues from experts and from each other. LEARNING PROGRAMS provide dozens of opportunities each year for grantmakers to learn about community issues from experts and from each other. Programs include briefings on regional issues, meetings with government and elected officials, opportunities to hear from provocative speakers from a variety of disciplines, as well as fun networking opportunities.

COORDINATED SITE VISITS get grantmakers out of the office and into the community and provide the opportunity to collectively experience and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing our region and our nonprofit partners.

PHILANTHROPY FELLOWS PROGRAM links graduate and undergraduate students from the University of Maryland’s Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership to fellowship opportunities with WRAG members.
