Non-Solicitation Policy

Washington Grantmakers is pleased to include representatives of the nonprofit community in many of our meetings, but asks those who attend to adhere strictly to our non-solicitation policy. Accordingly, potential grantseekers are prohibited from engaging in ANY fundraising at Washington Grantmakers events. Although permitted to talk about their organization's work in the context of the day's conversation, nonprofit representatives are precluded from making a "pitch" to an individual grantmaker or the group as a whole. Nonprofit organizations may exchange business cards with grantmakers, but are asked not to present proposals during or after the event unless explicitly requested by a grantmaker. Invited nonprofit representatives who violate this policy will be excluded from future WG events. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
