Assessing a Grantee's Financial Health and Accountability Part 2: The Basics of Assessing Financial Health

By popular demand, Washington Grantmakers brings you two seperate workshops on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 designed to improve your ability to evaluate grantees. (To attend both sessions, please register for both.)

Cost:
Members: $65 per session or $115 for both
Non-members: $100 per session or $175 for both.

> Training #2: The Basics of Assessing Financial Health (1:00pm to 4:00pm) Trainers will provide attendees with the basic knowledge needed to assess the financial health and acumen of grantees. Trainers will teach basic financial terminology and address how to read and analyze a budget and basic financial statements such as the statement of financial position and the statement of activities. The basics of cash flow will also be addressed.

These training programs will be conducted by Patty O'Malley and Mike Gellman of Rubino & McGeehin Chartered, a 25 year-old firm which offers a full spectrum of CPA services for nonprofit clients across the country.
