Co-sponsored by Greater DC Works (previously the Greater Washington Workforce Development Collaborative) and Washington Grantmakers, this event will bring together local foundations and workforce policy experts to discuss a variety of issues, including:
- How can workforce development investments promote shared economic prosperity for the region's families?
- What role should philanthropy play in supporting regional workforce development efforts?
- How are community colleges responding to our region�s workforce needs?
- How can the region best address the workforce shortages in the healthcare and construction industries?
