Learn more about the most pressing workforce challenges and opportunities facing our region at a special Funders Forum on Workforce Development Tuesday, June 17th.

Co-sponsored by Greater DC Works (previously the Greater Washington Workforce Development Collaborative) and Washington Grantmakers, this event will bring together local foundations and workforce policy experts to discuss a variety of issues, including:

  • How can workforce development investments promote shared economic prosperity for the region's families?
  • What role should philanthropy play in supporting regional workforce development efforts?
  • How are community colleges responding to our region�s workforce needs?
  • How can the region best address the workforce shortages in the healthcare and construction industries?
